Alternative Therapies

January 11th, 2009

I went to a talk in Emsworth today given by my Aunty Sheila, the Chiropractor, and it was all about health and wellbeing and how to look after your health etc, and there was also a herbalist there and an aromatherapist who I talked to quite a bit.

It was really interesting and I bought some herbal tea from the herbalist with ginger and cinamon in it, both of which are quite good to drink with chemotherapy etc.

Also talked to an aromatherapist, who gave me some a sample of some cream to help with the immune system and also a bottle of a mix of oils for relaxation that I can put in the bath or burn in an oil burner. I am going to go and see her for a massage in between chemo treatments which I think could help a lot.

Talking of essential oils, does anyone local to Worthing know a shop where I can get an oil burner from? I have never had cause for such an item, although I have seen them I cant remember where?! Thank you!
